City not Visited
(I had this dream in September of 2004.)

I am walking down the street of a small city that I've never been to before.  It seems to me, that I am not sure where I am supposed to go or who I am to meet; but I do know that I am to meet someone.

This little city seems very old and in need of major repair.  Very dusty and dirty!  There's a few Latinos hanging out in the streets and of course, it should be a language I do not understand; yet somehow I do!

I walk into a cafe and there are no other persons in there but myself, a cook and a waitress.  This cafe seemed unlike any cafe I've been to before, it had rows of booths; but only down the center of the cafe, none along the walls.  I pick the one closest to the door and a very large window.  The booths were very shiny red leather and the tables were a shiny black.

I chose this particular booth, in hopes of seeing the one I was to meet.  As I sat, the waitress came to me and took my order; of which was only coffee and water.  I didn't know if I was going to need to wait long or not, so I decided not to order any food; though I really wished for at least a salad, because I was indeed very hungry!

As I sat, I looked into my purse and pulled out a map.  As I reviewed the map, I drank my coffee and water and smoked many cigaretts.  It seems that I knew exactly where it was that I should go.  I paid the waitress and walked out onto the street again.

As I started walking in the direction I knew that I should go, I began to think of how far away this place was and that I should figure out how to get some sort of transportation.  Just as this crossed my mind, I was passing an alley; when I noticed a little boy half-way down an alley.

The boy saw me too, and was real excited to see that I turned for a second glance.  He began waving his arms, for me to come to him!  I walked down the alley to the boy.  He was a very young Latino boy, who wore very dirty clothing and no shoes upon his feet.  He was setting upon a cement wall, right infront of a warehouse building.

He jumped down from the wall and said, "Is this what you have come for?"  At the base of the wall was a motor bike.  I said, "Yes!"  I also told the boy that I only had American Money to pay for the motor bike.  He said, "That's ok!  I'll take whatever you have, for I need some shoes and I am very hungry!"

Then the boy said, "You need to follow me and I will go get my Uncle."  So I followed the boy, as he opened the huge sliding metal door to the warehouse.  Once inside, he told me to wait in this room and he would go get his Uncle.

While he was away, I noticed some cement steps that led to a basement.  I went down and though there was very little light, I could see the motor bike at the back end of the basement.  I went in for a closer look, and began to dig in my purse for the money in which I may purchase this bike.

Then all of a sudden, three men appeared!  One of them said, "Is this what you have come for?!"  I said, "Yes, I am pulling out the money now!"  Then he said, "Take her up-stairs!"  The other two men grabbed me by the wrists and dragged me up 3 flights of cement steps.  This was so painful, that I came very close to unconsciousness!

Once we reached the 3rd floor, the first man ordered the other two to strap me down onto a very large and thick wooden board.  Once this was done, the board and I were flipped upside down.  The board and I were then raised up to the ceiling.  Then all three men began to shoot me with their guns and throw knives at me!

I could feel every blow, but I was somehow able to endure it!  I then went unconscious, and I suppose the men thought I was dead.  When I came to, I was still strapped onto the board and now upon the ground, but I could not see very clearly; for much blood was in my eyes.  I could see that my purse was lying upon a table not too far away, and that the room was now empty.

I then heard the metal door open and heard the voice of the first man say, "Take her off the board and get rid of her!"  I then heard the metal door close, and the sound of little foot steps coming up the cement steps to where I was still lying.

It was the little boy!  He came up to me, and began crying over me; thinking that I was dead!  I could feel every tear as each one fell upon me!  Once the boy had unstrapped me, he went back down stairs; for he thought he needed help to drag me away!

I then heard the metal door once again, open and close.  I was somehow able to get up on my feet.  It was so strange though, for I felt no pain; yet I was still very bloody and wounded severely!  I walked over to the table that my purse was upon and grapped it up and saw that everything was still inside it!

I then walked down the cement steps, to the metal door and walked out!  Once I was outside, the little boy was sitting upon that cement wall once again; and the motor bike was at his feet as well.  When the boy saw me, he jumped down from the wall and grabbed me in a most grateful embrace!  He kept saying, "Please forgive me...!"  I pulled him away, and told him that he was forgiven.

He then said, "Please, take the bike before my uncles come back!"  I told him ok and gave him all the money I had.  As I climbed upon the bike and was beginning to pull away, there came many many people from every direction.  When they (including the boy's uncles) saw me, they kept saying, "She was dead and now she is alive!  Please forgive us!  Please forgive us!"

As I turned, I could see everyone prostrate on the ground; humbling themselves and praising God!

I drove past this little old and dusty city, and then upon a little bridge.  On the otherside, it was like the most beautiful park I've ever seen!  So green and full of life, and so peaceful and perfect.  All the while, I too am praising my God!

Then I woke up.

Please pray about this dream.  If the Lord gives you an interepretation, please send me an email!
